Overview
A study permit requires more than university admission. Most applicants also need a provincial or territorial attestation letter (PAL/TAL), must prove they can pay for tuition and living costs, and should explain their study plans clearly. We help you prepare a focused study plan, organize your proof of funds, and check current PGWP eligibility rules for your program where applicable.
What is Included in Our Package
Key Eligibility & Document Requirements
- Letter of acceptance (LOA) from a Canadian designated learning institution (DLI)
- Provincial or territorial attestation letter (PAL/TAL), unless you are exempt
- Proof of funds: first-year tuition and travel costs, plus at least $23,448 CAD for living expenses (single applicant outside Quebec, applications from September 1, 2026) — a GIC is one option, not a requirement
- A clear, structured study plan (statement of purpose)
- Language test results if your school or program requires them
- Medical exam (if required) and biometrics
