Terms of Service

The terms governing your use of this website, our client portal, and our immigration and recruitment services.

Last updated

1.Acceptance of these terms

These terms form an agreement between you and Global Link Consulting Inc. ("Global Link Consulting", "we", "us") governing your use of globallinkconsulting.org, our client portal, and any related services.

By accessing the website, submitting a form, or signing in to the portal, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

2.Nature of our services

We provide immigration consulting and recruitment services to individuals and employers. Immigration advice is provided only by consultants authorised to represent clients under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

Nothing on this website is legal advice, and using the website does not create a consultant–client relationship. That relationship begins only when a written retainer agreement is signed by both parties. Until then, no obligation to act on your behalf exists.

No guarantee of outcome

Immigration and visa decisions rest exclusively with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, visa offices, and other government authorities. We do not and cannot guarantee that any application will be approved, that processing will complete within any timeframe, or that a particular job placement will result.

Any statistic, timeline, or success rate shown on this website is historical and general in nature. It is not a prediction or a promise about your file.

3.Your responsibilities

When you use our services, you agree to:

  • Provide information that is complete, accurate, and truthful.
  • Promptly tell us about any change in your circumstances that could affect a matter we are handling.
  • Supply genuine, unaltered documents. Submitting fraudulent or misrepresented documents is a serious offence under Canadian immigration law and will result in immediate termination of our services.
  • Keep your portal credentials confidential and notify us at once of any unauthorised access.
  • Meet deadlines and pay fees as set out in your retainer agreement.

You are solely responsible for the consequences of information you provide. We are not liable for a refusal, delay, or other adverse outcome caused by information that was inaccurate, incomplete, or withheld.

4.Fees and payment

Professional fees are set out in your retainer agreement. Consultation fees are not published on this website; we confirm them privately once we understand what your matter requires.

Our professional fees are separate from, and additional to, government filing fees, biometrics fees, medical examination costs, language-test fees, and translation costs, all of which are payable by you directly to the relevant body.

Government fees are non-refundable by us, as we never receive them. Refunds of our professional fees are governed by your retainer agreement. Payments made online are processed by Stripe, and card details are handled entirely by Stripe.

5.Client portal and acceptable use

Portal accounts are issued to identified clients and are personal to them. You may not share, transfer, or resell access.

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose, or to submit fraudulent information.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or data.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service, or circumvent its security or rate limits.
  • Upload malware, or content that infringes another party's rights.
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest content or data by automated means without our written permission.
  • Interfere with or place unreasonable load on the service or its infrastructure.

We may suspend or terminate access to the portal where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.

6.AI-assisted features

Parts of the service use artificial intelligence to draft documents, generate checklists, and answer general questions about using the portal. These features are productivity aids only.

AI output is generated automatically, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and is not immigration advice. Any AI-generated material relating to your file is reviewed by a licensed consultant before it is acted on. Never rely on an AI response for a decision about your application — ask your consultant.

7.Intellectual property

All content on this website — text, design, graphics, logos, and software — is owned by Global Link Consulting Inc. or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international intellectual-property law.

You may view and print content for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other reproduction, distribution, modification, or republication requires our prior written consent. You retain ownership of documents and information you upload, and grant us the licence needed to use them to deliver the services you retained us for.

8.Third-party links

This website links to third-party sites, including government resources. We provide these for convenience only. We do not control them, do not endorse their content, and are not responsible for their accuracy, availability, or privacy practices.

9.Limitation of liability

The website and portal are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or opportunity, arising from your use of the service.

Our total aggregate liability arising from or relating to the services is limited to the professional fees you actually paid us for the matter giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for fraud or for our professional obligations as regulated consultants.

10.Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with our services, please raise it with us first at info@globallinkconsulting.org so that we can try to resolve it directly.

If a concern relates to the professional conduct of a regulated immigration consultant, you may also complain to the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), the national regulator.

11.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that province, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection right available where you live.

12.Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The revision date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change, and continued use of the service after a change means you accept the revised terms. Where a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention.
