Industrial Mechanic

About this role

A full-time Industrial Mechanic position is available in Northeastern Ontario. The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations. The position pays CAD $39.00 per hour, based on approximately 40 hours per week, with overtime opportunities as required. Candidates should have relevant mechanical experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to workplace safety.

What you'll do

• 1nspect, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment
• 2Diagnose mechanical issues and equipment failures
• 3Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
• 4Repair and replace worn or damaged mechanical components
• 5Work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• 6Install and adjust machinery and equipment
• 7Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• 8Follow workplace health and safety procedures
• 9Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
• 10Respond to equipment breakdowns as required

What you'll bring

• Previous experience as an Industrial Mechanic or Millwright
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
